MASTHEAD SENSOR

A patented windpoint /windspeed sensor with hydraulically dampened windpoint provides improved accuracy across a wider range of winds. Its lightweight aluminum contruction and rugged sensors make for years of trouble-free service. Available with either AMP or Conxall plugs.

FAIRED BRONZE DEPTH SENSOR

Available for all SIGNETMARINE depthsounders. Useful for wooden boat applications. Shaft is 5" tall and .87" in diameter. Transducer protrudes 1.13" below hull.Thru-hull dimensions.

FLUSH MOUNTED DEPTH or DEPTH / TEMP SENSOR.

This sensor for performance sailing is flush mounted to reduce drag.
Mounting hole diameter is
1 5/8 inches. Thru-hull dimensions.

HEEL SENSOR

With an accuracy of ± 1º this sensor (the most stable available) provides angle of heel to a ± 45º in 1º increments.

MUSHROOM DEPTH SENSOR

The standard sensor for the SL 172, and SmartPak. It is easy to install and only protrudes 1/4" below the hull.
Mounting hole diameter is
1 7/8 inches for transducers prior to 2001, and 2" after that. Click on image for larger view. Thru-hull dimensions.

DIGITAL FLUXGATE COMPASS

For the SmartPak performance module and the navigation module, this sensor provides digital heading information in 1º increments with an accuracy of ± 2º.

FLUSH MOUNTED
THRU-HULL WITH PLUG

Ideal for mounting the paddlewheel boatspeed sensor, it improves high/low speed accuracy by maintaining even, smooth boundary flow. Thru-hull dimensions. Also available in Mushroom shape.
PADDLEWHEEL SPEED SENSOR

Standard on SmartPak, the SL11, and the SL267A. This self-powered paddlewheel boatspeed sensor provides accurate information from only 0.25 to 50 knots. A direct replacement for all older SIGNETMARINE speed sensors. Three different plug ends are available. Please specify when ordering.
Three America's Cup syndicates are currently using this sensor.

Sensor accuracy and reliability are often overlooked. No matter how good your instruments are, they still can only be as good as your sensors. Sensor input error greatly affects what is read at the display.

With calculated functions involving two or more sensor inputs, errors may even compound to the point where the information finally displayed is almost useless.

Sensor technology is our original base. We developed and patented many of the sensor design breakthroughs in our industry. SIGNETMARINE sensor technology means the best information right from the start.
